Una ciudad con más de 800 años de historia, que evoca inmediatamente al poeta y escritor inglés William Shakespeare: esta es su ciudad natal. Podréis visitar la casa donde nació, el cottage de su mujer Anne Hathaway (un poco alejado del centro) y la bonita iglesia donde está enterrado, la Holy Trinity Church. También os aconsejamos que visitéis el mercado que se hace en la plaza, el Royal Shakespeare Theatre y su restaurante panorámico. Que paseéis por el río Avon (o lo recorráis en uno de los bonitos barcos). Admirar las casas entramadas estilo Tudor (algunas de ellas son pubs como el Garrick Inn, The White Swan y varios más. Cheers!). Y si os alcanza el tiempo a disposición, podéis visitar la Butterfly farm, un ambiente exótico con cientos de mariposas de colores.

Potete vedere la casa dove nacque, il cottage di sua moglie Anne Hathaway (un po' spostato dal centro) e la bella chiesa dove è seppellito, la Holy Trinity Church. Vi consigliamo di visitare anche il mercato della piazza, el Royal Shakespeare Theatre e il suo ristorante panoramico. Passeggiate anche per il fiume Avon o prendete una delle belle barche per navigarlo. Ammirate le case a graticcio dello stile tudoriano (alcune sono pubs come il Garrick, The White Swan e molti altri (Cheers!) E se vi rimane del tempo potete visitare la Butterfly farm, un ambiente esotico con centinaia di farfalle colorate.
A market town with more than 800 years of history, synonymous with William Shakespeare, the English poet and playwritter: this is his birthplace. You can visit visit the house where he was born, and also the cottage where he lived with his wife, Anne Hathaway (this is a bit far from the city center), and the beautiful church where he was buried, the Holy Trinity Church. You should also visit the market, the Royal Shakespeare Theatre and the rooftop restaurant with panoramic views, walk along the Avon river (or take a trip along the River Avon in one of our beautiful river cruiser boat). Admire impressive Tudor style houses (also several pubs: the Garrick Inn, The White Swan and many more. Cheers!). And if you have time to explore the surroundings, you can visit the Butterfly farm, an exotic enviroment with hundreds of coloured butterflies.
En la estación de Stratford Upon Avon, a la que llegamos desde Birmingham (que está a unas 40 millas, es decir, unos 65 km). Otras ciudades de sus alrededores son Derby (70 millas-113 km), Nottingham (70 millas-113 km) y Coventry (20 millas - 32 km)
